So What Happens Now? 

Now that you're part of the Pink Plaid House Party, you're wondering...

How does this House Party work?

  • Party day -- On October 6th, gather your guests for food, friendship and a celebration of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

  • Party package -- Hosts will get their free party package, featuring a copy of the cook book and great samples/offers from party sponsors, about a week before party day.

  • Party now! -- Your party may be weeks away, but the fun starts now here on your party website.  Send and track invites; post comments to the blog; upload pics and videos; check regularly for exclusive recipes and planning tips...

Now let's get this party rolling!

My package just came. I'm so excited. What a great package. I bought some pick gift bags & pink & white tissue... I've got my pink ribbons made. I made copies of the self breast exam & I'm going to include them in the gift bag.. I can't wait.

We were just leaving for a walk when the FedEx truck drove by and pulled in front of our house. Of course, we turned around and thanked the FedEx guy for our package. Wow. Great things come in small packages. The cookbook is Awesome -- LOTS of tasty recipes. And the Salad coupons -- Wonderful. And the Batteries -- AWESOME. And a new CD, and too much to keep listing ... Wow. I'm impressed. Thank you, Better Homes & Gardens and House Party!!

i cant wait for my party package to come. this cause is very close to my heart and soul. i have so many great friends and relatives coming. i have one friend making these beautifull pink ribbons for our hair and we are coming up with other ideas. i have to say the best one is we are getting all our stuff together for a tag sale, and we are donating to the susan komen organaztion. the word really needs to be out there for breast cancer awareness. i hope everyone else who got picked for this house party has a great time!!! enjoy and make some cupcakes with pink frosting and some cookies and decorate them with a little symbol of breast cancer

My first house party. I can't wait. My friends and family are so excited. We love having parties. This one will be great because it brings awareness to Breast Cancer.

This is a party that i think deserves a little more attention. I wish that they were allowing more than 1000 people to host this one. I think that getting the word out is great, and what a better way to do so, than to host a "fun filled" party and round up your friends and family bring awarness to such a horrible horrible disease.

My guest attendance will be over 50 by the time I am done as it is going to be held at a bowling alley. I am so excited that I was chosen. I have ordered pink and white balloons for the lane tables and the banquet table. I am planning on a raffle gift - bowling - trophies - 50/50 - fashion show where the guests wear pink and/or plaid - bowling is 9 pin no tap so if you knock 9 pins down you get a strike. I am in the process of gaining info about breast cancer through awareness. Good luck on your parties and have fun
