I was going to host this party and had everything set up then the worst happened.

My doggy was found in the backyard unresponsive.

I still have all my paty supplies and her dish in the same spot i left it.

I had to let all my feelings out today on christmas eve missing her so much!

This party was all for her but i could not go on with it with out her.

pRIP Cheech!

I would like to thank House Party and Chef Michaels for letting this party happen. This party has bought friends and dog lovers all around our town togather as one. They say you cant put pitbulls and bulldogs togather with chihuahua  and other small dogs  even cats togather. But at  my party we made that possible. Everyone body and anamil got along. My guess enjoyed there gifts bags fill with tons of stuff for there pets. Even bought extra stuff to add to spice it up. I printed out the games on the  site and we played them alll after we have aten. And of course that we all took our dogs and ourself for a walk around the block down  to the park were we all relax and enjoyed out sunday afternoon. Couple days later after the party I contracted each of my guess to ask them how they enjoy Chef Michaels dog food. They all told me that its the only items of food there dog will eat. They have given away there regular dog food and switch over. They enjoyed the idea of mix the can with the dry food. The used up there coupons the ones I printed out and the ones on top of the cans.I once again will like to thank Chef Michaels letting my dog and my guest dogs enjoys his fine producted.I have even spread the word around to  others at work town walmart...everywhere I go.I hope to be able to host more partys in the near future...and again thanks for everyone who made this possible.

Thomas~!

All the dogs had so much fun playing & running around together & their appetite paid off.............they ALL thoroughly enjoyed Purina's Chef Michaels foods & didn't want to leave my house due to that I was the one that put out their samples.  I think they all wanted to stay at my place for more......every day!

great party

Conversation started by abernick

we had 6 people for dinner with 3 dogs.  3 more people and 1 other dog joined up for dessert.  It was my dogs 9th birthday.  We used the dog bone cookie cutter and cut the brownies into the shape of dog bones.

We gave 1/2 of the extra Chef Michael's food to Meals on Wheels clients and the other half to the animal shelter.  We had people bring in food (both cat and dog) for the animal shelter.  They were all very grateful.

Party Day Without Daisy...R.I.P.

Conversation started by mitt14

I am hosting my Chef Michaels's Party tonight. On Sunday August 16th my "Good Girl" Daisy died unexpectedly. It has been very, very sad the last few days for me. I have two other dogs and they are really missing her too. She died at home and did not suffer at all. She had a wonderful 13 years with us! She was an abandoned dog that we took into our home and she gave us the most precious memories!! I'm sure having 10 other dogs in the house tonight for the party will help me. It has been hard and I miss her sooo much! RIP Daisy Jane. I know you are in heaven having a ball!!

What a great time we had at the party!! Everybody enjoyed the games and each others company..not to mention all the great decorations and party favors! I am still getting phone calls from my friends thanking me for inviting them. I really enjoy time with friends, but having the dogs with them was even better! It was an afternoon of fun..games, food, family and friends and laughter, it cant get much better than that. I think that taking the walk at the end of the party was a great idea. In fact, I think that I am going to throw a doggie party atleast once a year from now on. I cant wait to post my pics. They will be up soon I hope. Thanks again House Party and Chef Michael's for letting me be involved. It was a great honor to represent you.

I have been looking forward to this party and just know my pooch and lil ones are going to enjoy themselves.  This is the second time I have scheduled this event, first on Sat. 15th with only two RSVP and now on the 21st with again 2-3 RSVP.  Boo!  I am really wanting to share all the goodies and am dissapointed that not many are interested.  What ever the case I am sticking to tomorrow's date and even got a icecream cake for the lil ones.  I have the swing set, trampoline, play area, and sand table set up for the lil ones too and lots of yard for our furry friends to spread their legs.  My dish will be quiche, one crab and one sausgage along with some pasta salad.  Can't wait to take lots of pics and possibly a video.  I sure hope the weather isn't to extremely hot and that the covered seating helps us beat the heat.  The dogs sure are going to be eating like royalty and I just can't wait to see my dogs mouth water.  LOL  Good times!

Wonderful day!

Conversation started by sandmarc

All had a wonderful time.  It was a beautiful day, cooler than normal with a breeze.  Because I live next to a huge park the guests had a good romp and play time, with chasing each other and tennis balls, before settling down to the business of eating.  The Chef Michael's was a huge hit with all of them!  Duke the Mastiff downed it in just a couple of gulps!  LOL  Rascal the toy poodle particularly enjoyed the can food as she hasn't many teeth left due to age.  Casey, Cindy and Jet were good hosts and made sure everyone was happy and enjoying themselves before they ate.  Each guest received a goody bag that contained Madlibs, How Well Do You Know Your Dog, Fun Dog Facts, the coupon for more food, the Chef Michael plate (paper were used at the party), and 2 dog biscuits.  All left happy and full of food.

A huge THANK YOU to house party & Chef Michael's!! I just LOVE entertaining and this gave me a good excuse! All of the dogs LOVED the Chef Michael's it was so neat that they each had their own little plates!! I made enchiladas, queso and chips, bone shaped chocolate chip cookies and a huge bone cake for dessert! It was so fun to have an old fashioned get together, I can't wait to do this again! After about 2 1/2 hours each guest went home with the doggie bags which I added frisbees, dog toys, and little puppy notebooks too (on top of the dog food and goodies provided by Chef Michaels). The evening really couldn't have gone any better, we all had a BLAST!!!!

Bow Wow What a party !!!!

Conversation started by magica

The Chef Michael's House party was a great hit with dog owners and their precious pets.  The party package was outstanding and the party favors were fantastic.  The dogs all loved their goodies bags and so did the owners.  The party table looked so pretty with all the information and party favors.  It was really a great party and many dog owners got a lot of information on this special supper for dogs.  It was a really really nice party.

All the guests loved the stuff that they got from the party. The dogs love the food and its better for them than most of the food out there. Did my own checking. I found that there is less filler in Chef Michaels food than in other brand name stuff.

We had a fabulous party. It started inside with the invited guests and ended up outside with a sidewalk party, where all my neighbors got involved. The product was full of flavor, no odor, and great appearance, of course there were one or two picky eaters but the general contentious was positive. My 6yr old Blue and Gold Macaw parrot even sampled the food. This is a product that I will purchase and recommend.

Door to door Party,

Conversation started by robertcoppock

My 5 year old wanted to see his puppy friends So Rather than have the party on the lawn,( it was the last weekend before school starts so most people were busy at home) He decorated up his little red wagon and took the party to the dogs. He went door to door to see his favorite pups and handed out treat bags to each pup.

One of the very neat things about blogging is that people and companies want you to try their products and to comment on them. You get lots of samples.

Our latest sample testing event came from Chef Michael’s a dog food manufacturer who sent us dog food (dry and wet) and instructions on having a dog party. The theme was Sunday Supper and we were asked to provide food for the people as well as the dogs.

We have a lot of dogs in our neighborhood, so we invited a total of 8 to our soirée. A few of the dogs had “other engagements” but we were able to put 4 dogs together, all white little Maltese/poodle look a-likes. To say this turned out to be adorable is simply an understatement.

The kids became the dog handlers (more like baby sitters) enjoying the task of bringing the dogs to a special Chef Michael’s plate which held a little of both the dry and wet food.

As a nod to our chickens, we only opened up the Filet Mignon with carrot and pea garnishes in meaty juice flavored wet food. We did sneak in some of the dry Rotisserie Chicken Flavor with pea and carrot garnishes dry food but told the chickens it was turkey.

Every single one of the dogs ate it up and I mean ate it all up. If you are a dog owner then you know how exciting this can be. How many times have we tried a new food only to have the dogs snub their noses at it?

Each dog (including those who had been invited but couldn’t make it) went home with a doggie bag (get it?) of dry and wet food samples.

We all had a fun-filled afternoon with the kids even discovering that the dry food acts well as training treats (those dogs sat dozens of times in order to get a bite).

Chef Michael, our chef’s hat is off to you.  You managed to create a wonderful, tasty,  and fun event for all the dogs and their human friends.
