After your party is over and done, you’re going to want to make sure every play date is a success. Here are some tips to keep them running smoothly:
- Provide age-appropriate props for imaginary play
- Allow for both interactive and individual play
- Include craft materials
- Play music babies and toddlers enjoy
- Have both board books and “read to” books on hand
- Don’t force children to do what they don’t want to do
Guests and hosts: Share your favorite play date tips with other moms!

When I click on most people's name, I see that they are hosting the Fisher Price party. Some people that haven't recieved there packages say not hosting any parties, maybe that's why you didn't recieve anything yet.

Your party is just a couple of weeks away. All across the country hosts are planning their Fisher-Price® Play Date House parties. Here are some questions to consider as you begin your preparations:
- How am I going to decorate?
- What food and drinks am I going to serve for the kids? for the moms?
- How will I organize playing with the Fisher-Price toys?
- What other activities should I include for kids and moms?
- What “extras” will help create a totally kid-friendly atmosphere?
- Do I have extra batteries on hand for the toys?
Hosts--tell us about your plans! Guests--share your suggestions!

thanks for all the great comments! I've got a 33 week old and there are some "older" kids coming. I wasn't sure what kind of food to feed them, but I think I will go with the goldfish and cheerios. I'll probably have a small table for kids to look at soft books and a table with the ABC's party favor -is it okay to leave the walking kids by themselves to color? I'm afraid they'll swallow a crayon.

It’s time to get your guests in on the action. How do you go about inviting guests to your Party? Here’s 3 easy ways:
- Email them. Use Your House Party Guest Manager tool to invite guests online.
- Snail mail them. Use your House Party Guest Manager tool to print an invitation and then send it out.
- Ask them in person. When you do, be sure to add them to your House Party Guest List so you can track all the RSVP’s in one place.
How are you inviting your guests?
