I still had the party but no party pack until a week later, and then only some seeds and coupons which I mailed my guests. I have hosted parties before and this was not the same quality as before and my guests were a bit disappointed.

To make sure your party day is all about fun, take a moment now to finalize party plans.
- Pick up an extra bag of ice
- Charge your camera batteries (and be sure to take lots of party pictures and upload them to your party site)
- Clean and decorate your house – naturally, of course
- Plan your activities and games and be sure to download from Party Favors.
- Ask your guests to help
- Have coupons on hand to share with your guests
What last minute tips do you have for your fellow hosts?
Guests – what can you bring to add more fun to the party? Share your ideas, too!

I wound up combining my Greenworks and Grey Poupon parties. There was no way I was going to pass out a thing of seeds to my guests. I just canceled that party and held on to the seeds until the 18th.

I went to Shaws and purchased reusable shopping bags to use as goody bags(the pink breast cancer awareness ones)......instead of giving out the papertowels coupons, I used them to pickup the rolls of paper towels to put into the goody bags along with the magazines, etc. I will be doing some shopping tomorrow to pickup some last minute items and am hoping to find a great sale on Green Works so I can include a bottle of cleaner in each bag (or at least in a few of them and have a lottery to determine who gets a bag that includes the cleaner)!

We have received word from some of our hosts that their party pack contained a broken light bulb. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. There are certain precautions that should be taken when disposing a CFL light bulb which we are providing. Please read carefully and contact House Party for a replacement party pack while supplies last.
An extremely small amount of mercury, an average of five milligrams, is sealed within the glass tubing. For a basis of comparison, there are about 500 milligrams to two grams of mercury in your average home thermometer. It would take between 100 to 400 CFLs to equal that same amount of mercury. While this is not a major exposure of Mercury, we would like to share the proper ways to dispose of any potential broken bulbs.
For more information on how to clean up broken bulbs, please click here.

We have not gotten anything was supposed to arrive via regular postal mail (seeds) and be here by Thurs. at the latest, nothing come, emailled several times with no response... over 40 people have been canceled and changed their sat. plans for me and now are very upset. Can not do a green cleaning party with some seeds and seeds do not grow in our sand... so IF they come we are donating them to the local shelter.

Here are some questions to consider as you begin your preparations:

Well, I couldn't get ahold of everyone to cancel the party, so we had a wii party and cookout. Everyone was dissapointed that it wasn't a go green party, we talked about natural ways to work in the garden/yard. recycling and such, but everyone is very upset about the sponsors lack of participation with this one. All in all it was a good day, but a lot of money was lost on this green works party. I hope to do another house party and hopefully this is just a one time incident. Hope everyone had a great time that did recieve something to work with.

I didn't even get a package, so now I have to spend my day tomorrow canceling this party, what a pain and waste of time and money I spent on food, party favors, and activity planning. Such a disapointment.

I too have been denied for several parties. The living green party was my first and I have applied for many since then only to be denied for all. Tell me what it was we did to deserve that?
