Why should my girlfriend and I host a MadMen party?
I am a successful freelance graphic designer, advertiser and type designer and my girlfriend is a professional copywriter. Our love for advertising, our passion for Old Fashioned's, and my affliction for Lucky Strikes would make for the most memorable MadMen party to date.
Over 50 of our close friends are in the advertising field and/or design related professions. To say that we've just "watched" MadMen is an understatement; we live the MadMen lifestyle. I own the Banana Republic MadMen suit and my lovely misses is a near spitting image of Betty Draper.
Not only would this party be a huge event for us and our advertising friends, we'd make it a huge marketing opportunity and social event for us all.
