Well, we finally did it. Despite a month of scheduling conflicts and illness, we finally got to have our first house party! Because it was so delayed and we hosted it on October 30th, we turned it into a dual party; an afterschool Halloween party for the kids and a Green Living party for the adults. It was a great success, with 16 kids and 7 adults attending. The kids had a great time and the adults got a nice chance to visit and took home some "treats" of their own. Will post pics very soon

well, the 4th was a bust and we won't be home ont he 11th and the next weekend is MEA, so not a good weekend there. How does everyone feel about having the party on the 24th and rather than having brunch we will merge it with our Halloween kids party? Fun for the adults and the kids!

Okay, so I am thinking that the 4th is not the best day for people. Emily can't come, Nancy can't come, it is the weekend before Suzanne's wedding, so I expect she won't come :) How about changing the date, any opinions? We could bump it later in the month and blend it with our kids' Halloween party that we like to do. Crafts for the kids and fun for the adults too. What do you all think?

Okay, somehow I got a little confused and accidentally chaged the date on the dropdown menu to Sept 4. ??? That would be a little difficult without a time machine, LOL! Anyway, it is Oct 4, if that date doesn't seem to work for people then we can swich to another date (but only one in the future!!!).

Sorry I can't come! I will be on my way to meet my dream men once again and see them in concert for the first time in 15 years. :)
I'm bummed cuz the original invite I got said it was a thursday at 10am which meant i could come alone with NO KIDS! lol But once I saw it said Sept 4...I was hoping it was the wrong month/date. Oh well!

I too have been denied for several parties. The living green party was my first and I have applied for many since then only to be denied for all. Tell me what it was we did to deserve that?
