We know your Pink Plaid House Party will be fun. And tasty. And creative. And meaningful. And...
...well, the truth is, while we know it will be great, we don't know exactly what will be most special about your get-together. But we WANT to know!
When your party is over, come tell us about it!

I was unable to host my party at my home so I did it at work. During our lunch hour, I decorated our lunch room, brought in recipes from my new cookbook and all of the samples that were provided. What a lunch hour. Everyone loved it and I think that everyone will purchase the new cookbook because everyone wanted mine. Thank you for the opportunity to host a Pink Plaid House Party. God Bless everyone who has had to deal with this horrible disease and survived.

My party rocked!!! We had "boobie" cupcakes, with pink frosting, and buttercream nipples. We wore pink aprons as we made the caramel snack mix on the recipe cards. We drank pomegranite martinis and had so many laughs. What a fun night... Thank you!!!

The party was so much fun... I only wish I could of invited more people...
I made a cupcakes. with pink icing of course..
In the party package I put reminders that all of us were going to go have our mamograms done. I had told everybody in advance to check their calenders so that we could set a date. Then we each put the time & date in the party package to help us remember..
Some of knew people that had died of cancer in one form or another..:(
I just want to say thanks for the great package. Everybody was so jealous of my new cookbook..

This was such a great party and it held very special meaning to me.
I lost a very close cousin and her mom who was like a sister to me to breast cancer. I have several friends who are cancer survivors. I started by decorating my dining room and den with pink streamers and pink ribbons. I also had pink candles and pink light bulbs in my lamps for the event. I had made pink punch and made 3 different types of cupcakes and decorated my cupcakes with homemade pink icing and put pink ribbons on them. I gave out the party package pieces and everyone loved them. I also made a cheeseball which I believe is the best one I have ever ate. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much we talked about getting together every 2 to 3 months and doing a Pink Party where everyone brings their own dish. We are trying to think of some way to do some type of fundraiser so we can donate to Susan Kohem so that will be coming soon. Thanks to everyone for giving us the opportunity to get together for some great memories.

My party was moved to work on Saturday morning, because we had to work. We set up a small table with decorations and gift bags. Each bag contained the items in the party package as well as a breast cancer awareness bracelet, calendar, and butter mints. Everyone loved their gift bags. We enjoyed a cake made by Bonnie decorated beautifully with pink and white icing. We had cashews and walnuts. I also served a fruit tray with dip, and the very first cheeseball I have ever made with crackers. I displayed the PINK PLAID COOKBOOK in the center of the table with breast cancer awareness wall hanging behind the table. I think we are going to put into the works to have an annual breast cancer awareness celebration every October. We all had a wonderful time. We had 24 ladies in attendance with a special guest speaker. Lorie Sailors is a survivor of breast cancer. She gave a brief speech on the importance of getting your yearly mammograms and doing your monthly self checks. Can't wait until the next party to celebrate a wonderful cause.

Thank you House Party for giving me the opportunity to throw one heck of a party in support of one heck of a cause. It raised awareness while giving my friends and family an opportunity to spend some quality time together. We had a great party... great food, great games, a great theme, and great guests.
Thanks also to Better Homes and Gardens - a wonderful organization and a fantastic publication. I am now a subscriber for life. Thanks for all that you do for us everyday people.

I just want you to know what a great time we all had. I am so proud to have sponsored a "pink" party, and a party in the "Better Homes and Gardens" name. We discussed how the local grocery stores and running so many sales on "pink tag" items, and we're seeing so many advertisements lately, supporting breast cancer awareness, and that is so great! We enjoyed the wonderful cookbook, and so many of them are going to be ordering their own. I'm already going to be ordering one as a surprise Christmas gift for my mom, because she loves those cookbooks, and fell in love with it, when she saw it.
We all had a fantastic time, and shared so much. I would LOVE to do this one again, and really hope this one is offered again. This was the best party I ever had.

We had an awesome time! Everyone loved the receipes that I made and two of the girls have the Pink edition of Better Homes and Gardens cookbook so they marked the page numbers down for themselves. I even made my first double layer cake from scratch! We discussed if we personally knew anyone who has been touched by cancer. I learned that one of my friend's mother had breast cancer and survived. My mother is a colon cancer survivor. It was really touching to learn this information about one another and know that this is a battle that many women face.

We had a great party at the local country club and raised $100 for Susan Komen. Our actual party was smaller but turned out to be really great. We ended up roasting s'mores on the beach and toasting our lost friends and family. It was touching, meaningful, and crazy! I loved it and have to do another one soon.

When I applied for this party, I never expected it to turn out the way it did. What an awesome day my girls and I had! We dedicated our party to the memory of our neighbor girls' (20, 18, and 15) mom who passed away two years ago from breast cancer. We spent the day celebrating her life by watching home videos of them and their mother and running a lemonade stand in front of our house. We raised $65 that will be donated in her name. I made them goodie bags with a pink ribbon pin attached and included BSE instructions and a printout from the internet about breast cancer and heredity. I want these girls to be aware and agressive and fight this disease! Thank you to all of the sponsors and House Party for the wonderful day I shared with these beauties!
