This was a great party. Always cool when it centers around the kids. They all loved the movie and the leis and notebooks. I have seen a couple of the backpacks at soccer practices, too. We played limbo and my daughter made up a cool game with the wand. We ate outside and stayed out there playing Wizards themed games until it was time for the movie. So much fun!

I finally uploaded some pics! The party went great and the kids (and adults) loved the recipes. Since we were also celebrating my daughters bday we had some extra wizard deco. The kids are still reciting spells and making up their own! We loved it and some parents have called more than once to thank us for the great party and the quality tim ethey got to spend with their children at our party.

The party was great. The kids loved the leis and tote bags. The soundtrack was a big hit... BUT, the movie didn't get their approval. The group of 10-12 year olds and thought the graphics were bad. They ended up playing other games during most of the movie. It didn't really hold their attention.

The kids had a great time hanging out together and playing. They all loved the party packs that they received. The minute the got them, they sat down and started writing in their new notebooks. My youngest daughter even wrote some of her own "spells" in hers. The movie was great as well. All the girls were reciting spells they heard in the movie. We all had a great time.

We had a wonderful time. The kids made wands and we had a pull string pinata. Most of the kids spent the night and by the following morning the had memeorised most of the spells i had provided. One of the moms called the next day to thank me, her children couldn't stop talking about the party and relived it all for their dad. Every child was received with an Aloha. Now when they call our house they say "Aloha" (so cute). We all had a grand time. I fell ill after the party and had a relapse this is why I'm just now posting.

We had a blast at our party. The kids had so much fun watching the movie and hanging out together. After the party I wound up ill so I didn't get a chance to upload my pictures until today but for some reason I am not able to get them to upload so I posted them on my photobucket account and will put the link on my party page. Thank you for allowing us to host and provide my kids and their friends with a great magical time.

We had a great party. It was a blast watching the kids scurry around the house for the treasure hunt. My kids really got into making the decorations for the party. The party favors were the hit of the show. My daughter said that her friends are now using them as backpacks for school.

Sorry it took so long to upload the photos, I've been swamped! We had a blast! Including my daughter, there were 7 girls. No one minded we had to cancel the pool party feature due to the weather. They played freeze dance, musical islands, hot lemon, (we used the sound track - they thought it was great - for each of these games) pin the coconut on the palm tree, made sub sandwiches, drank homemade strawberry lemonade (with little palm trees for decoration), made their own chocolate covered pretzel wands, then had pineapple upside-down cake. They won prizes I bought at Justice and LOVED the Disney gifts! They all said the party was awesome and loved the movie!
Thank you so much to Disney and House Party!

Better late than never. We had a great party. My girls are 11 and 9 and they both had friends over to watch. They loved making Hawaiian necklaces with foam beads and decorating for a "Luau". We had pineapple with little umbrella toothpicks and "magic wands" (pretzels dipped in chocolate and sprinkles), among other snacks. The girls (and two boys) had a great time trying to figure out the scavenger hunt items and really loved the music CD and the movie. Every commercial, they all got up and ran to get more snacks. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait to do it again.

We had an awesome party! The kids all really enjoyed it! They had a great time making the wands and their wizard hats.. then they jumped in the pool! The loved the food and the tiki island themed cups, with umbrella straws, etc. The treasure hunt that we moved outside worked out great! Although my daughter was a little bummed when I asked her to forfeit the wand (she won, but I felt the wand should go to a guest, so it went the boy in second place.) The BBQ, hammock and trampoline time followed, and the kids seemed to enjoy it. They also loved watching the movie outdoors. We set up a big screen and played the movie which we taped the night before. We set up a popcorn and slushie stand during the movie, which the kids seemed to enjoy. They also really loved the spell book notepads and sling bags and mini posters. All in all a great party! The only complaint I have was my camera fell in the pool and was useless. Fortunately another parent captured some pictures. Thank you House Party! The kids are still talking about this party at school!

We had a wonderful time at the party. The kids loved making up their own "Forbidden Spells" and we are still listening to the soundtrack. If you get a chance to watch Wizards of Waverly Place as a family I totally recommend it! Also make sure to sign up at houseparty.com so you can host your own House Party! Here are a cpl more pictures of the kids working on their spells.

This was such a fun party! We are only 3 weeks into the school year at a new school and used it as a way to give the kids a chance to get to know each other. It provided a fun, low pressure way for the kids to bond - and the soundtrack got everyone excited and in the party mood right away. We wore our hula skirts and leis, and greeted the guest with the floral leis at the door. We then had pizza while the soundtrack was playing. Then we watched the movie and had popcorn of course - awesome! After the movie we all made our own ice cream sundaes - complete with mini island umbrellas. After dessert everyone joined in for a game of limbo to the soundtrack. We finished the night by handing out the party packs and everyone was so excited we did a group picture. Everyone had a great time and can't wait to have another party! Thank you so much House Party and Disney for making this such a huge success! My daughter was so excited to go to school today to be able to talk to their friends about the party!

This was a really magical party. We played the cd all night long. Guests were greated at the door, aloha style, then we started with the word search provided. We played magical hats then swam. For dinner we had spellalicious soda, disappearing doritos, callipso chips, wowp fruit rolls and wowp sub shop subs. The girls danced and giggled all night. Everyone LOVED the movie and had popcorn with m&ms. After the movie, they took the movie quiz. The backpacks were a huge hit. The girls coordinated one day to all carry themm to school. Thanks to House Party and Disney for such a wonderful experience!
